Dr. Chris Wichman, University of Nebraska Medical Center, USA

Christopher Wichman, PhD is an Associate Professor & Graduate Program Director in the
Department of Biostatistics at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He received his PhD
in Statistics from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and his MS in Materials Engineering from
the University of Virginia. Dr. Wichman’s current research interests are in clustered study
designs, longitudinal meta-analysis, and test-retest reliability of pressure wave forms. He actively
collaborates with scientists in the fields of neuro-cognitive decline in people living with HIV,
community based participatory research, biomechanics, physical therapy, mechanical ventilation
management, pediatric palliative care, diabetes, physical activity, and nutrition.
