Farhan Houssein Ali, currently a PhD student in health management and affiliated with the Public Health and Health Management Research Laboratory, reports to the Mohammed VI Faculty of Medicine at the Mohammed VI University of Sciences and Health. Over the years, I have evolved to positions of responsibility, and after completing my master’s degree in 2016 at the Ministry of Health of Djibouti, in particular as head of health data for tertiary-level structures at the Directorate of Health Information. This experience exposed me to the complexities of health data management and strengthened my understanding of the requirements of the health system. In 2017, as Coordinator of the Global Fund Project Management Unit at the Ministry of Health, this strategic role gave me the opportunity to put into practice my skills in managing large-scale projects in the field of public health. In 2020, I assumed the position of Executive Secretary at the Executive Secretariat in charge of the fight against HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. This position has allowed me to actively contribute to major public health initiatives and to deepen my leadership and strategic governance skills. I am committed to improving health management in my country through my research project, capitalizing on my academic and professional background.
