Since September 2021, Paula Guro has served as the project coordinator at the University of Michigan School of Public Health for the Michigan COVID-19 Recovery Surveillance Study (MI CReSS). She additionally contributes to qualitative analysis of MI CReSS data. Ms. Guro earned a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 2021. Prior to joining the MI CReSS team, Ms. Guro worked for the Healthy Minds Study, an annual survey of college student mental health. She also worked as a research area specialist for the University of Michigan Kidney Epidemiology & Cost Center (KECC), while KECC functioned as the Coordinating Center for the United States Renal Data System.
